This event combines some of our favorite things: Jewish ritual, progressive organizing, being together as a community, and FIRE (in a safe and controlled environment!) We're counting the days until the biggest local election DC has seen in decades, and taking action to help elect leaders who will meet this moment. Campfire-appropriate snacks will be provided. Location will be sent out ahead of the event.

Future Voices of Montgomery County: Youth-Led Candidate Forum
Gaithersburg High SchoolJoin students and community members from across the county to hear from over 50 candidates running for office in Montgomery County and Maryland. This forum will be youth-led, with students asking the questions and the community hearing how candidates stand on issues that will affect young people -- and all of us -- in the county. Candidates will respond to questions using an interactive Yes / No format, and the evening will conclude with a brief straw poll reflecting audience impressions from the discussion. Please RSVP by Friday, April 26!

We'll hear from friends and neighbors about how these leaders can help build a more just Montgomery County, and we'll have a chance to take action to help get them elected. Light refreshments and snacks will be served, and the exact address will be shared with attendees a few days before the event.
