DC Lag B’Omer: Fire and Phones
U StreetJoin the JUFJ Campaign Fund for Lag B’Omer as we enjoy a bonfire and phonebank to mobilize our community around the 2026 Primary Election. This event combines some of our favorite things: Jewish ritual, progressive organizing, being together as a community, and FIRE (in a safe and controlled environment!) We're counting the days until the biggest local election DC has seen in decades, and taking action to help elect leaders who will meet this moment. Campfire-appropriate snacks will be provided. Location will be sent out ahead of the event.

Looking for an easy and impactful way to support Oye from home? Join the campaign for a phone bank session — no experience needed. Meet on Zoom at 6 pm for a quick 15-minute training, then spend two hours calling DC voters to make sure they know Oye is running and how to vote by mail or in person. Your number stays hidden, calling as a group makes it fun, and two hours of your time can make a real difference. Choose Sunday, May 31 to phone bank with the JUFJ Campaign Fund.
