Bruce Turnbull serves on the Board of the Jews United for Justice Campaign Fund and on JUFJ’s Montgomery County Leadership Council. He co-chairs the Criminal Justice Reform Initiative of the Jewish Council for Public Affairs and is a member of the Lawyers’ Committee of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. He serves as a board member and pro bono counsel to the Bolechow Jewish Heritage Society, a non-profit organization he co-founded to restore and preserve Jewish heritage for the Ukrainian town of Bolechow and the surrounding region. Bruce and his wife, Susan, were honored with a Heschel Vision Award in 2019. He is retired from over four decades of the (paid) practice of law, now devoting his legal training to social justice advocacy.
